PAMP processes all materials bearing gold, silver and/or platinum group metals. Current gold and silver refining capacities exceed 450-metric tons and 600-metric tons per year respectively, which ensures superior flexibility, fast turnaround, and competitive pricing.

Prior to any refining process, PAMP undertakes stringent verification of a supplier’s legitimacy, ethics, responsible business conduct, and practices, as well as the origin of material and integrity of the transportation chain.

Security innovations
PAMP originally set industry best practice for bar security with its patented process for incorporating holographic features within precious metals, as an anti-counterfeit measure.


Good Delivery accreditation is the standard for precious metals. It measures product standards as well as industry and market practices. Recognizing only the most reputable assayers and refiners, nothing less is acceptable.

PAMP is an Approved Brand of the CME Group (Chicago Mercantile Exchange) for the contracts of gold, silver, platinum, and palladium. It is also one of only three refineries worldwide designated as ‘Referee’ by both the LBMA and the LPPM.

PAMP is the only refinery in Switzerland to simultaneously hold ISO 9001, ISO 14001ISO 17025, OHSAS 18001 and SA 8000 accreditations and it is supervised by the FINMA for compliance with Swiss Money Laundering Legislation.
